2016/08/28 Medical Volunteer Orientation Materials:
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
To establish an organized cadre of medical volunteers for Tzu Chi Mobile Dental Clinics and medical outreach events, we are hosting a volunteer orientation for those who are interested in participating the Tzu Chi medical mission.
This orientation will be conducted in English, with Mandarin translation if required.
Date: Sunday, August 28, 2016
Time: 9:00AM- 12Noon
Location: Tzu Chi San Jose Campus (Room 112)
Course contents include:
- Northern California Medical Mission Overview
- Health Clearance Requirements
- Medical Outreach Flow Operation
- Dental Team Overview
- Basic HIPAA and OSHA
- Tzu Chi Medical Humanity Skills
The purpose of this orientation is to provide participants with up-to-date Tzu Chi medical volunteering practice and protocol for new and current (as a refresher course) medical volunteers. There is no prerequisite required; nor a physical evaluation required for the orientation. However, a valid health clearance is required BEFORE participating in each (medical outreach) event.

為了大愛醫療車、大規模義診，及一般社區義診活動培訓志工及儲備幹部做準備，北加州分會醫療組，將為有興趣參與慈濟醫療志業者，舉辦志工說明會。課程將以英文進行，並為有需要者，提供中文翻譯。

醫療志工說明會的目的，是用來培訓所有對醫療志業有興趣的新志工，及提供現任醫療志工再充電的機會。參與的學員無需先修課程，也無需體檢 。但參加義診活動前，需提具有效體檢表。
