Medical Group - Internal Training Program

Training enables our volunteer to do an effective work that conforms to regulation. It applies to existing volunteer as much as to new volunteer. ----- Director, TCNW Medical Team

Medical Volunteer Training - Course refresh is recommended every 3-yr (2-yr renewal for the certificate)

1. "Orientation" is required for Tzu Chi volunteers to participate all events in Medical Mission,

- No prerequisite needed

- Course includes Tzu Chi Medical Humanity Skills, TCNW Medical Team Orientation, Basic HIPAA & OSHA

- Potluck lunch is provided for all medical departments (All hands) gathering

2. "Family&Friends CPR/AED" is open to dedicated medical volunteer who has completed the "Orientation"
3. "Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR/AED" is open to dedicated medical volunteer who needs this skill while performing volunteering activities. An AHA certificate will be issued to the qualified volunteer who has completed this course and passed the tests

Dental Assistant (DA) Training is offered to dedicated medical volunteer in Dental Department for Tzu Chi Medical Mission.
