Our Dinner-Preparation Days

Guidelines of Dinner Preparation

1. Please have around 5 volunteers work in the kitchen as the kitchen is not very spacious
2. Please prepare the dinner to serve 25 people
3. Dinner serves at 6pm daily including holidays
4. Please have dinner menu submitted to JW House couple of days ahead of the preparation day so JW House could print out the menu like
5. There is no need to serve dinner. Volunteers could just leave dinner on the counter and leave after the dinner is prepared.
6. Volunteers (e.g. students) could bring their volunteer forms on site so the administrator could sign the form
7. Follow USDA Basics for Handling Food Safely

Drive to JW House

JW House is located at 3850 E Homestead Rd, Santa Clara, CA 95051. The house cannot be easily spotted from the road. The following is the simple direction map so you won't miss JW House.

Couple of Tzu Chi volunteers have visited JW House on 10/25/2015. The tour of JW House is kindly hosted by Jennifer who is also a volunteer at JW House. Here is the information for your reference if you've never been to JW House. The kitchen is well equipped with the all necessary items.
