We total need about 18 volunteers, 10 RN, 2 MD (have found). We will need another 4 volunteers to help to set up the facility on 7/29 pm. and clean up after event on 7/30 too. For our volunteers, we need to get ready and have pre-training start at 7:30am until 3:00pm.

 

The detail is as below:

 

* *Station1--Registration and check in*

+ need 2 volunteers

+ Give out participant a file folder with participant I.D. label

 

* *Station 2--Informed consent form and fill out screening questionnaire (interviews)*

+ need 8 volunteers as many Chinese/English speaking as possible (at least 2 RN)

+ Explain screening criteria to participants

 

* *Station 3--Physical measurements (Check Body weight & blood pressure & waist circumference)*

+ need 2 RNs and 2 others general volunteers

 

* *Station 4--Urine and blood testing*

+ Urine: need 2 technical volunteer (RN) and 2 general volunteers

+ Blood draw: need 3 phlebotomists/or blood drawers (can be RNs but must be good at blood draw), 3 volunteers

 

* *Station 5--Clinician consultation*

+ need 2 doctors /or nurse practitioners consult

 

* *Station 6--Screening review (Check out)*

+ need 2 volunteers

 

Since we are not only serve Chinese guests, we prefer the volunteers can speak Chinese and English, station 2 volunteers need to read English too. National Kidney Foundation will come to our office to set up the facility and give our volunteers training on 7/29/11.
