- Background:

To serve our local community in providing disease prevention, and health maintenance information. In the middle of summer there is no better time to inform our local communities about preventing heat stroke, skin cancer, and outdoor injuries and maintaining chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes in the summer time.

 

Our medical consultation services in this event will include general medicine, oriental medicine, dentistry, vision and chiropratics for the individuls and families around the north valley and Milpitas areas. Two sessions of health seminar will also be provided to promote preventive health care. Our clients most likely will be from nearby Chinese community. 

 

- Target to recruit,

  MD/RNP: 2 Dr.

  RN: 5-6 Nurses.

  OMD/Acupuncturist: 2-3 Dr.

  Chiropractor: 1 Dr.

  Vision: 1 Dr.

  Dental: 2 Dentist/DDS, 1-2 RDH, 5 or more RDA/DA, 1 X-ray operator, 2 portable unit and 1 dental van technician.

  Spanish-English interpreter 

  Vietnamese-English interpreter 

  Regular volunteer: 15 - 25
