Tzu Chi will participate Binational health fair to provide medical to services to low-income families in Salinas area. Salinas is known as the Salad Bowl of America or Salad Bowl of the World. Over 80% of the lettuce grown in the United States is grown in the Salinas Valley.
Binational Health Week is one of the largest mobilization efforts in the Americas to improve the health and well-being of the underserved Latino population living in the United States and Canada.
- Target to recruit,
MD/RNP - 2-3 Dr.
OMD/Acupuncturist - 3-4 Dr.
Dental - 8 Dentist/DDS, RDA/RDH, 8 DA, 1 X-ray operator, 2 portable unit and 1 dental van technician.
Chiropractor - 1-2 Dr.
Vision - 1 Dr.
Nurses - 5-7
