This Glossary project is initiated by the DAW team. Currently, there is a TIS (Translation Information System, http://tis.us.tzuchi.org/english/) that provides a simple-to-use interface as people want to translate Tzu Chi Chinese words into proper English words. The system can be thought as an official dictionary that offers references for all translators at Tzu Chi who want to translate Chinese words and phrases into English.

This feature can potentially replace the function of Outlook Calendar so that the organizer can pick up a time that all participants are all available.

The project is initiated by Brother C.F. Currently, the registration is done on paper. The paper data is then hand transferring to Excel files. This is a very labor-intensive process which is error-prone. Also there are copies of Excel files which are hard to keep track of.
